Tricopter with kk2 or kk2.1 board is spinning out of control.

Problem:

Tricopter is spinning immediately after take off.

Reason:

Servo at the tail of the tricopter is turning the opposite direction that the control board wants.

Solution:

Reverse the direction that the control board is turning the servo by:

  • Go to mixer editor
  • Go to Ch4 (the number in the upper right corner
  • Make sure that at the bottom say “Servo”
  • Change rudder from 100 to -100
